Terms & Conditions

Your ticket/s purchase and/or attendance of a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event for yourself or others deems you have the authority and capacity to enter into this agreement and commit to abide by the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Mingle & Match Speed Dating reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion. Any changes to the Terms & Conditions will take immediate effect from the date of publication. Previous versions of Terms & Conditions can be requested from Mingle & Match Speed Dating.

 

 

Tickets

• Ticket purchases are non-refundable.

• Ticket name changes for the same event can be made where the new participant is of the same gender and within the event age bracket. Name change requests must be received either by contacting Mingle & Match Speed Dating or directly via the Eventbrite website at least three (3) hours prior to the event published start time. These changes may incur a fee which which must be paid prior to the change being actioned.

• In the case Mingle & Match Speed Dating has to cancel or change an event outside of our control, you will be offered to a ticket credit or a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law. Your ticket credit is valid for any other future event to the same value as your original booking.  You will be sent an email to the address you provided upon booking confirming the details of the event changes. Ticket credit or refund requests must be made by the deadline date stated in the email you are sent advising of the event changes, or where no deadline date is provided in the email, at least five (5) days before the new event. Requests for a ticket credit or refund after this date will not be honoured. Name changes on ticket credits are also available at no charge until three (3) hours prior to the new event published start time.

• Cancellations or event change requests must be received by contacting Mingle & Match Speed Dating at least five (5) days prior to the event published date. You will be entitled to a ticket credit to attend another available event of the same value as your original booking. Mingle & Match Speed Dating can only accept one change request per booking. Requests for a ticket credits, refunds or event changes that are within five (5) days of the event, or after the event has occurred will not be honoured.

• Incorrect (gender/sexuality/age) or accidental ticket purchases are non-refundable, however are eligible for ticket name changes or ticket credit in line with the relevant above conditions.

• Failure to attend an event at the published start time or leaving an event early will result in the forfeit of your ticket/s. You are not entitled to a ticket credit or refund.

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating reserves the right to offer deals and discounts to the ticket price and is subject to the conditions of the deal and/or discount. Discounts do not apply to tickets purchased at a standard or higher price and/or tickets purchased outside of the sale event.

• Venues are subject to change or cancel at any time prior to the published event start time. In the event the venue changes or cancels, you will be notified and will be entitled to either a ticket credit or a refund refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

• Ticket credits have a twelve (12) month validity from the date of issue. Ticket credits are able to be transferred to another person. Ticket credits redemptions are subject to availability for the event of your choosing.

 

Events

• Participants must be 18 years or older and Mingle & Match Speed Dating reserves the right to request for proof of age identification.

• Participants must complete a registration form and agree to provide honest, correct and up to date information. 

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating reserves the right to refuse entry, request you to leave or ban any participant from an event. Behaviours deemed (but not limited to) inappropriate, aggressive, disrespectful, rude, or abusive will not be tolerated towards Mingle & Match Speed Dating or its staff or associates or participants. In the case you are refused entry, requested to leave, or banned prior to the event completion you are not entitled to a ticket credit or refund.

• At no time will your identifiable personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email address, be published for advertising and/or promotional purposes, without your express permission.
• By purchasing a ticket, you agree that Mingle & Match Speed Dating can take photographs and/or video footage at the event, which can be used on the website, social media, or for any other advertising and/or promotional materials.  This footage may include participants  during the event. If you do not wish for your image to be in any footage or photography, you must advise Mingle & Match Speed Dating prior to the commencement of the event.

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating holds events at venues that are independently owned and run. For any damages suffered, physical or otherwise, you agree that Mingle & Match Speed Dating cannot be held responsible or liable. You agree to any venue requirements/requests such as (but not limited to) proof of age identification, responsible service of alcohol policies, dress code policies, and COVID-19 social distancing. If you have a physical disability or impairment please ensure the event venue can cater for your comfort and ease of access by contacting Mingle & Match Speed Dating at least five(5) days prior to the event published date. 

• By purchasing a ticket/s and/or participating in a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event you agree that Mingle & Match Speed Dating or its staff or associates are not liable for any loss or damages (direct, indirect, special or other) that may arise prior, during or after a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and/or emotional distress and discomfort.

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating does not take responsibility for the safety and security of your personal belongings whilst attending an event.

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating cannot verify the identity or background of any participant at an event. You should approach any interaction at a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event with the same caution that you would exercise in any other situation.

 

Matches

• Mingle & Match Speed Dating will not provide your personal contact details or registration photo to anyone that has not mutually matched at an event. For further details, please visit our Privacy Policy.

 

COVID-19 Policy

• By purchasing a ticket/s and/or participating in a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event you agree to abide by all COVID-19 venue and government health guidelines and mandates.

• By purchasing a ticket/s for a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event you agree not to attend the event in the case that you have currently tested positive to COVID-19, are currently experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or (where required by current government guidelines) if you have been a close contact of a recently confirmed case of COVID-19. 

• Cancellations or booking change requests must be received by contacting Mingle & Match Speed Dating at least five (5) days prior to the event published date. You will be entitled to a ticket credit to attend another available event of the same value as your original booking. Mingle & Match Speed Dating can only accept one change request per booking.

• In the case Mingle & Match Speed Dating must cancel an event due to COVID-19 restrictions or a lockdown, you will be offered to a ticket credit or a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
